In an age where social media demands constant attention and engagement, stepping away from it can feel like a radical act of resistance. Not using social media any longer isn’t just a lifestyle change—it’s part of my evolving relationship with conceptual art and my fiction. By disconnecting, I’m stripping away external noise, allowing myself to focus on creating stories and art. In some ways, this choice feels like a performance—a rejection of the societal pressures to share, like, and monetize. Instead, I’m embracing creativity on my terms, free from the gaze.
Enough of my own navel gazing for now.
I don’t know if it’s the right move for my publishing career, but I’m giving it a try for my art instead. No more social media.
